STRIKER KILLED BY VOLUNTEER WORKER. ACQUITTAL ON GROUND OF SELF-. MFENCK. (Per Press Association). ' AUCKLAND, September 11. A private cable to a relative states that Reginald Wearnc, who, when attacked by the sinkers at Sydney, killed one striker, and wounded another, has been 'acquitted by the Court on the grounds that he acted in self-defence.
