'SUMMARY AND FORECAST. (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, September 11. The following is Mr D. C, Bates's weather summary and forecast:—"Dull ami niisty weather, has prevailed and rain generally, heavy in parts, and floods are reported at Kaikonra. Strong southerly winds have predominated. Present 'indications are for high south-easterly winds; weather squally, with heavy rain and flooded rivers, especially in northern and East Coast districts, the barometer rising everywhere.
