KEEP OF GERMAN PRISONERS.
UNFOUNDED REPORTS OF . EXTRAVAGANCE. (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, September 11, In the Houso this afternoon, replying to Mr R. MeCallunvtlio Hon Sir James Allen said he was unable to discover any extravagance in connection with tho keep of, the German prisoners on Motuihi Island. It was anticipated that when the war was over, the cost of their keep would be recovered.
