MORE ACCOMMODATION WANTED. WELLINGTON, September 7, Replying to-day to requests for better accommodation at the Christchureh Post Office, Sir Joseph Ward said the Department was working under great inconvenience, but the Christchureh request was one of two hundred involving a considerable amount of expenditure, and in the present state of affairs, due to the war, it was impossible to spare the money. For the same reason, Sir Joseph Ward was unable to promise Mr Witty any hope of having the Pa'panui Post Office building replaced by a now structure this year.
