YOUNG MAN MISSING.

DISAPPEARED FROM TAUMAETJNUI. (Per Pres* Association). TAUMAK'UXUI, September 3. Prod Bain, a single man, employed % a farmer down the river, and formerly, employed at Otorohanga and Taihape, disappeared from the Club Hotel hero on the morning of August 18th, leaving his watch behind aim taking a fel-low-boarder's cap. It is believed that lie has met with a fatal accident whiles crossing the Wanganui river, making for Bait's farm, where he worked. The police have made an unsuccessful search for the-' bodv.
