PLEA TOR'REGARD TO COMMUNITY OF INTEREST. (Per Pre?s Association.) WELLINGTON, July 20. In the House of Representatives yesterday the Hon, G. W. Russell laid on the table of the. House the result of the last census, Replying to Mr Pearce, the Premier said that Commissions would be set up to define-the electoral boundaries at an early date. ■ Mr Nosworthy suggested that the Premier should take some steps to see that'greater regard was paid to community of interests in defining electoral boundaries, The 'Hon. G. W. Russell pointed oiit that the duties of commissioners were statutory," and they were obliged to work to well-defined-rules, and it was 'contrary to law that the Premier should interfere.
