The Conacriptioiiist Liberals, at a meeting passed a resolution determining to give undivided support to the policy to secure the fullest participation of Canada in the war. They proposed also the reorganisation of the taxation system, in order to meet war-time conditions, ensuring that those who do not fight will pay proportionately from their wealth,' and demanded the immediate suppression of profiteering either in munitions or foodstuffs.
