At Addingtou market the entries,of fat stock in nearly all departments were small, but beef was in good supply and store cattle formed the largest proportionate offering in store stock. Store siieep were in keen demand. Fat sheep, which were barely sufficient for local trade, were very firm. Steer beef maintained its value, but cows and heifers were rather (lull of sale. There was a lillle better demand for slorc cattle. . Dairy, cows were, a lillle easier, and pigs of all classes sold well. Slorc Sheep.—Two-tooth owes 31s !)d to 45s ,'ld, four and six-tooth ewes lo 37s 3d, two, four, six, anil eight-tooth ewes 2Gs to 37s 3d, s.in. ewes 30s Id to' 34s Gil, two and four-tooth wethers 21s lid to 2!)s 9d, owe lambs.24s lOd to 81s Cd, wether lambs 23s Id lo 35s 3d, m.S. lambs 21s 5d to 28s 3d.
