The Legislative Council •resumed this afternoon, • _ On the motion of the' Leader, Sir Francis Bell, the Hon. Colonel Collins was granted leave of absence for the, remainder of the .session. The Council' passed a motio.ii expressing deep regret at the retirement from', the.Council.of Sir, Henry .Millar, after fifty years.as a councillor. Sir Frauds Bell, who moved the motion, to'the fact that Sir Henry Millar had. previously occupied the Speaker's eliair, and said lie was onq of the Dominion's most distinguished statesmen., The Council adjourned' until next. Wednesday. .
