Chang Hsun's forces are surrendering and being disarmed and sent to Hsuehouff, Tuanehijui has arrived at Peking an.l Idyunhung has returned to his own residence, The Chinese newspapers report that the Dentche Bank financed Chang Ilsiin. The latter released the Germans interned in the Western hills, some of whom fought o:i Chang Ilsun's side, particularly assisting in artillery work. Other newspaper advices from Peking state that the bulk of the diplomatists protested against Chang Hsun's transfer to the German barracks on the ground that he had forfeited his right to be treated as a jiolitical offender.
