Tho dispute between tlie Military Service Board mid tlio warden (Mr Hutcliison) following the latter's .objee-. tion to the chairman's (Mr Eyans) remarks in favour of granting protection to a miner at Kanieri, was advanced another stage this afternoon, The prden had 1 granted six'months' protection, but tho Military Board .considered the period totally inadequate, and had further adjourned the 'hearing. To-day the Board, empowered by the recent regulation, granted protection for the period of war, 1 and twelve months after. 1 . Appellant was-ordered to go into .camp ii! August. ' '
