In reply to an inquiry from Mr Dickson to-day whether the allegations against the Auckland postal officials would be heard either before the Supremo Court or a magistrate, tho Postmaster-General said that when he had received a full report from the head of the department he proposed to refer the; whole matter.to. Cabinet, The reputation of the oflicers concerned was very greatly at stake, and they should .be protected, 'Whether the matter should go before a Judge of the Supreme Court or a magistrate was, however, a matter which could be decided later. ~
