Cable advice .has been received byMr J. Shaldcrsj of Enfield, from his three .sons, who' are on active service, to the effect that they are all well. The death of Mr Richard Laurence, at the age of seventy-one years, took place at the Victoria Home on Saturday morning. Deceased hail been an inmate of the Home for a few.months only.
Trooper Clutha Mackenzie, editor of the "Chronicles of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force," intends to return to London, whore, lie will resume control of the journal.
