WAITAKI GIRLS' HIGH SCHOOL, (Show Grounds, at 3 p.m.) The first hockey match of the seafon wilt take place this afternoon at the show ground, when the annual fixture between the North Otago Ladies' Hockey Club and the Waitaki Girls' High School will be played, This match is always looked forward to with a great deal of interest, and, as during the last two seasons at any rate, there have been very few hockey matches, the standard of play maintained by tho enthusiasts in the sport has been most creditable, and to-day's match is certain to be strenuously contested.
