The Bugby Sub-union's junior flag competition -will be continue! to-day,' when the teams will meet for live fifth match of the first round. • Plf.y will commence at King George's Park at. 1.15 p.m., when the Athletic will meet the Telegraph Gallery team. At o p.m. on the same ground Ihu High School A and Old Boys will meet and at' 3 p.m. Excelsior will play High School Bat the School ground. In the primary schools' competition, the South School will play Middle School at 3.15 p.m. at Tokaro Park, Following are the teams:—

WAITAKI GIRLS' HIGH SCHOOL, (Show Grounds, at 3 p.m.) The first hockey match of the seafon wilt take place this afternoon at the show ground, when the annual fixture between the North Otago Ladies' Hockey Club and the Waitaki Girls' High School will be played, This match is always looked forward to with a great deal of interest, and, as during the last two seasons at any rate, there have been very few hockey matches, the standard of play maintained by tho enthusiasts in the sport has been most creditable, and to-day's match is certain to be strenuously contested.
