NEXT SEASON'S CHEESE OUTPUT

In the House of Representatives this afternoon the Prime Minister referred to the fact that he h:' -"cived authority from the Board of Trade to enter into negotiations with. (he prodikjrs of the Dominion for the purchase of next season's cheese output, He hoped that in this respect some of the difficulties' existing last year would not arise, and t'hut a 'more satisfactory arrangement would be made. In connection with tlio notification received from the Imperial Government regarding the purchase of next •asou's output of cheese, the Prime Minister has decided to convene a conference of delegates representing the cheese producers throughout lite Dominion, to meet in Wellington on Monday, L'Sni infant.

An intimation to this effoet has been forwarded to all representative associations, so that the poposal of the Imperial Government may be considered, and also for the purpose of electing delegates to represent the ■ producers at (he conference.
