PAYMENT OF PENSIONS.

NEW ARRANGEMENT INSTITUTED. (Per Press Association,) WELLINGTON, July 10, Owing to the difficulty experienced by the G.P.O. in dealing with the, large number of payments made on account of the Pensions Department and other State services at the beginning of each month the Hon, Arthur Myers intimates that it has been decided by Cabinet that instalments of pensions usually falling due then may be paid) any day in ihe preceding month not earlier than the 23rd. The,new arrangement takes effeet on August 1.
