DUNEDIN MARKETS. . CHAIN AND PRODUCE REPORT. DUNEDIN, July 9. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report as follows: Oats.—Except for bright heavy lines suitable for seed and milling requirements the market is quiet. For all lines of the former quality late rates are maintained, while the demand is somewhat slack for discoloured and feed lines of. medium quality. We quote: Prime milling -Is to 4s Id, good to best feed lis Oil to lis 1 Oil, medium to good lis 7d to 3s 9d per bushel (sacks extra). Wheat.—Very little of any description is offering. Millers are ready purchasers for suitable quality at full Government rates. Fowl wheat is in very short supply, and is readily disposed of in small quantities for local requirements at 5s Oil to (is per bushel, sacks extra, according to sample. Potatoes—Consignments have been ' coming forward more freely from the north of late, but the quality is not up to that of the local tubers, Buyers aio showing a decided preference for'choice lines, which are meeting'witli a fair demand at quotations, Medium quality and faulty lots are neglected.
