PARLIAMENT AND THE HUPMOBILE.
In the recent Parliamentary tour of the Northern Districts, Hupniobilcs distinguished themselves for reliability and comfort. They took every obstacle 011 the whole tour, not one stoppage was recorded through Hupp failure. Between Rerekimo and Broadwood was a very bad piece of road, and here a llupp was the only one of the 23 cars to get through the mud on its own power. All the other makes had to be assisted by twenty to thirty^ members of the party with the aid of ropes. This is further proof of the superiority of the Hupp engine—known as the "lugging type." As the Ilupp Handbook says it is "desinged for hard and heavy road work—mud and sand pulling. Built for touring use. See a llupmobile £l5O complete, f.o.b, Christchurch, Local agents: N.Z.
