The following telgrani. has been dispatched to the Minister of Railways by the manager of the Rangitikei Co-opera-tive Sawmillers' Association:— • "Your announcement to discontinue loading building material is viewed with alarm.by. the whole of the sawmilling industry; and if carried out, it will : completely disorganise vtrade and seriously injure thousands,, who are dependent upon it. Urgent and important contracts are now in hand for essential works. We trust, therefore, that your Government will find a better and more acceptable Way ,of coping with the contemptible and cowardly stand takfu by the coal miners. .You may rely upon the whole-hearted co-operation of the sawmillers,"
