Whitehead, in tho Sunday golf case. Tho Court was unanimous in upholding fhe decision of the magistrate, that the by-law which'prohibited playing or, practising golf on Sundays upon any reserve vested in tho Wellington City. Couucil was ultra vires and -invalid. The Court, held that .the by-law to enforce Sunday observance, and it,was. therefore contrary to section .347 of: the Municipal, Corporation- Act,"; 1908.'Th?
