LADIES' HOCKEY CLUB.

ANNUAL REPORT. The following is the annual report of the North Otngo Ladies' Hockey Club, which will be presented at the'annual meeting of the club, to be held in Bortrnm'B tearooms this afternoon at three o'clock:— _ "The committee has much pleasure in submitting to you the tenth annual report of the club, and it is satisfactory to be able to state that we have had an increase in the membership. Many of the new members have shown much .promise, and the interest all through the season was very keen. "We were unfoitunato in not being able to secure the services of a coach, "During the season the following matches were played :—Wnitaki High School (l) and Mnlieno Ladies (2), two of which we won. "During the past,season we were "gain very fortunate in securing the use of the North, Otago 'Agricultural and Pastoral Association's grounds, and our sincere thanks are due to the association for this privilege, and we trust that for the coming season they will see their way to again grant n's this favour.

"Our appreciation and thanks are due to those who presented donations, and for the interest they have shown in the welfare of the club. "At the end of the season a Bed Cross dance was v held in the Druids' Hall, where a most enjoyable evening was spent, ■ ■ *■-
