SUPPLEMENTARY REINFORCEMENTS.
FAREWELLED YESTERDAY,
A supplcuiontary draft of niuc men fqf the Twenty-eighth Reinforcements was despatched to camp yesterday by the second express.- There was no set function, but an informal and excellent lunch at the Queen's Hotel, at which the Mayor presided, and there were also present the Town Clerk, Captain Redmond, and Mr 0. R. Wise, and the relatives and friends of the men.
After the loyal toast had been honoured. the Mayor and Captain Redmond briefly addressed the men, whom the "''CP "f formality seemed .rather to please than otherwise. There was no
