INTER-STATE AND NEW ZEALAND RATES.

In connection with the war rates for inter-Stato and New Zealand ports, issued by the Sydney. Under writers' Association, the latest quotations are as follow:—'

To or from ports of the Commonwealth, and ports north of Cooktown (inchilling Port Moresby and Samarai), ami north of Fremantle— N ; Steamers 10s per cent., sailers 20g, To or from ports in West Australia south of and including Fremantle, and ports in New South Wales, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria, and Queensland (south of and including Codktown)— Steamers 5s per cent,, sailers 10s. Between New South Wales, South Australia,. Tasmania, Victoria, and .Queensland (south of and including Cooktown)— j Steamers 2s 6d per cent., sailers ss. To or from ports'in Now Zealand and ports in the Commonwealth north of Cooktown (including Port Moresby and Samarai) and north of Fremantle— Steamers 10s per cont., asilers 20s.
