At n meeting of the overseas anil local wool-buyers held to-day to consider the wool situation, it was decided that all the wool-buyers leave for Wellington to-night and hold a meeting on arrival, so as to be able to consult collectively upon the position, and decide upon the views to be put before the Conference.

Compared with closing rates of last sales, merinos are fully ten per cent., greasy crossbred, slipes 74 to 10 per cent,, and greasy ci'ossbreds lambs 3 per cent dearer. Current prices are: Crossbreds, coarse Is 7d to Is 74d, medium Is 8d to Is od, line Is 104(1 to Is HM; merinos, inferior Is did to Is 7-ld, superior 2s ,'{4 d; half bred 2s to 2s Id."
