Messrs Dalgcty and Co., Ltd., Dunedin, report as follows: Oats—There has been more, enquiry during the last few days,-and the market' is firm at quotations. There is no volume of business passing, as offerings from the country have been light, Good bright, heavy lines-of Cartons are readily placed at quotations. Bcid and Co., Ltd., Diuicdin, report: We held our weekly auction sale of grain and produce at oni- store's 'on 'Monday morning, when values' ruled as under:— Oats'—Good to prime Cartons have had better demand during the past week and sales have been more readily effected at prices fully equal to late quotations. Other classes of oats have aliso met with more enquiry and the market may be quoted firm. Prime milling 3 S lil to 3s 2d, good to best feed 2s lid to lis Id, inferior to medium 2s 7d to 2s lOd per bushel (sacks extra). Wheat—The market is firm and the tendency to-day is"towards higher prices.. Nearly ail prime wheat on offer has been taken at sellers' values and there i? a strong demand for all milling qualities.
