SHIPPING.

ARRIVALS. September sth. Poherua, s.s., 1175 tons (Edge), from Greymouth. Calm, s.s., 890 tons (Gordon), from Timaru. DEPARTURES. September sth. Calm, s.s., 890 tons' (Gordon), for Dunedin. Poherua, s.s,, 1175 tons (Edge), for Dunedin. NOTES. The Poherua arrived at 8 a.m. yesterday'with 500 tons of coal, and after discharging sailed for Dunedin at midnight. The Calm arrived at three o'clock yesterday afternoon and after discharging 52 tons general cargo and loading 150 tonsof produce for Wellington and Wanganui, sailed about nine o'clock for Dunedin. The Corinna is,due about the 18th inst. to load for Nelson and Ni!w Ply- 1 mouth, The Kahika left Westport at 10 a.m. yesterday with 600 tons of coal for discharge at Oamaru.
