Tlie War Oflicc reports tliat, Dar-cs-Salaam surrendered on the 4th. Soutli of Mrogoro the British troops continue to pursue the Germans. General Smuts' main body is on the slopes of the Ulugimi mountains. Our mounted troops are pressing towards the Great Ruahia river, co-operating with General Van Derventer's second division at Kikumi, General Northey has occupied New Iringa, whence the Germans are trying to retreat, to Maesuge.
