SHEARERS' PAY.

M, Labatl, secretary of the Xew Zealand Shcepowncrs' Federation, informed a reporter to-day that .the Council of the Pederntion had decided to recommend members to pay shearers 2/li per hundred as a war bonus, in addition to the rate of CI. laid down under the agreement entered into between the Shearers' Pederatiou ami the various Sheepowners' Cninns in liH-1, prior to the commencement of the war. Ife also staled that the Sheepowners' Federation had decided to adhere to the terms of the award made by the Arbitration Court on August .Kith, .l!llo, in 'tlin Marlborough district in respect of wages to sheil hands ami cooks. The terms of this award have since been made to apply to the whole Dominion.
