There appears to bn. »• fairly keen, demand, lint with practically none offering by growers. II is stated that there i,s plenty of wheat, held, in the country.' but the recent tendency of t.lie market to firm lias caused growers to lie. less anxious to sell. Prime Tuscan is said to be worth 4/(5 to 4/7, Pearl 4/9 to 4/10. and Velvet si/-to .1/1. The latter variety is very scarce, and good lines would probably command move money. The potato market is firmer, and il is now being paid for immediate delivery. Offerings arc very limited at present.
