GERMAN CLAIMS,

A German communique says: Northeast of Swinichy in the Lusk- salient Austro-llnngarians repulsed the Russians. An enemy attack north of Dneister temporarily succeeded, but the enemy was wiped out by a nocturnal counter-attack. We repulsed the enemy advanced north-west of Kukul Stara arid'Wipeza.
