ARRESTS IN AUCKLAND.

AUCKLAND, August 25i Three men have beeii arrested in connection with the theft.of tea, valued al over £2OO, from L. D. Nathan's tea (Jepartincnt, It was stated that one of the linn's employees arrived earlier than usual and found a. cart on which tea in cases was being loaded by another of the firm's employees, There were already twenty cases on the Cfirt. The police were summoned, and as the result of inquiries proceeded to a shop in Khyber Pass Ifoatl. Tlicy arrested Arthur Edward Bray, storcman, and George Harold Kenwick,- carter, and charged them with theft, and also lidmom! Thompson, grocer, charged with having received the stolen goods. The accused were, before the Court to-day and were remanded.
