A rumour has been current among the' soldiers in camp for some days that the, Government is sending an extra reinforcement draft shortly. The Minister of Defence stated tonight that the Government had no such attention. It had been' agreed,- however, that. New Zealand should furnish men for another battery of'artillery to join the Expeditionary force at thefront as-soon-as their training was com-' plate. This means that the recruits registered on the waiting list for the artillery will be called 'up rather sooner than otherwise would have been the' ease. '■ .
