THE TIVOM FOLLIES, • The Australian dumps-dispelling show the Tivoli Follies—are to appear here at the Opera House to-morrow evening. Mi 1 Hugh D. Mrlntosli has brought over a show of pantomime proportion, Over sixty performers malting the trip, in addition to the frill Tivoli orchestra,' under the direction of popular Will Qnintrell, Miss Vera Pcarcc reigns as queen of the Follies of .19.10, and has a retinue of merrymakers second to none., This versatile artiste will lie seen in new numbers and a vast improvement will be noticed in the work submitted. This, clever girl is not only queen 'on account of licr loveliness, but has made such rapid strides in revue work that she takes her position by right of artistry. Miss Tliclnia Ray's middy ringlets are guaranteed h iire the hopes of every young fellow in ■ipwn, ami this comedienne is rightly named the queen: of revelry. 'Jack Cannot, the popular comedian, returns full of fun, arid is.aided' by a trio of humourists in George Welch (comedy inebriate), Walter Weems (ebony-lined raconteur),'and Billie fiego (the diminutive one). Frank Greene, the modern stago lover, will make love as of yore, and will be associated with the Beigian Baud in "Carillon,'' a striking speciality. . Although. the Follies are sueli « huge show in themselves, music lovers mil welcome such a "star" supporting act as Ella (Jaspers, the Australian contralto, the "girl with the voice of gold." The Belgian Band will make'its initial bow to New Zealand audien/es, while the comedy acrobatic v 'team in Short and Little ari\out to demonstrate that there is something new after all in the art of tumbling.
