Dr'Anderson, leader of the northern section of Stefannson's expedition hns returned home from Alaska. Over .150 Islands were charted in'a. region heretofore mapped as Chapman, Lewis and Maieot Islands, in Bathurst Inlet. A perat field was investigated where native cropper is widely distributed in extensive quantities-. Valuable ethnological and archicological collections an.l over a thousand speciment of birds ant mammals were secured.
