JNTEMCJHOOLS MATOH. ■ WAITAKI HIGH SCHOOL v. TIMABU HIGH SCHOOL. The annual mateli between the representatives of'the Waitaki Boys' High School and the Tinvaru - Boys' High School will talco place to-day at the Waitaki grounds, commencing at 1.15 p.m. The Timaru team will arrive by the first express and will proceed at ones to the School grounds, where a stoni contest- is expected by those who are familiar with the two schools. Last year the South Canterbury boys defeated the .Waitakians by five points to- nil, and though they are likely to strip a'good deal heavier than the local plhyers, the success of the Wflitakians a'gjiinst Christchurch Boys' High School last week has put them in good heart, and an excellent game is anticipated. Unfortunately the ground, which has had au unusual amount of rain 011 it. during the present season,, will not have been improved by last night's fall, and fast play will'be impossible.
