Tho prices showed an advance of from 15/- toil per head on last week's rates. • Prime bullocks £l4 15/> to £l6; extra prime to £l9 12/6; medium to good £l3 10/- to £l4 10/-; light and un'fin. fished" £9 10/- to £ll 5/-; prime ,cows and heifers £ll to £l2 15/-; extra to (£l4 5/-; medium to good £8 10/- to £lO. - • Fat Sheep,—2739 were penned, The entry comprised a fair number of good wethers and -several■ pe-us of'.heavy weight ewes. The sale opened at about 1/- to 2/- per head below last week's extreme prices, but values continued firm throughout, graziers taking several lots of light wethers. Prime heavy wethers, -27/- to 30/-; extra heavy to 40/9; medium to good 23/6 to 25/6: light 21/- t0,22/6; prime heavy ewes' 27/- to 28/6; extra heavy to 36/6; medium to good 22/- to 25/6; light aud aged 15/- to 18/-, ■ ' ' Fat Lambs.—l 277 were penned. Freezing buyers were- operating freely and good sales resulted, tho prices being 1/- to 1/6 better' than last week's rates. Prime heavy 22/- to 24/6; extra prime to. 33/9; medium to good 19/- to 21/6; light and" unfinished 14/- to 17/6.
