The Sawing of each art union was eagerly waited, but the main interest centred, ir the bride doll, which was undoubtedpi prize to be coveted. Owing'to the irgc interest takqn in this prize; special revision was made. All drawings ook place in the " Golly wog" tea-; boms, and were drawn by different idies. i ■ Mrs Douglas, who drew the winning icket fpr the carved table handed the l'ixe back to be sold by auction when it ;ns again returned several times, before t was finally sold, , .
