WAITAKI CONTEST. A meeting of the supporters of the Wuituki Reform .candidate, Mr Norton FrunciH, was held at Wainmtc on Saturday, OctoW' 3rd, lit which there were about sixty ladies and gentlemen present. ,' Mr A, Garland was elected chairman, ftnfl Mr J. W. Manchester, secretary. The foHowiug districts,;. with'their respective convenor of committees, were allotted:—Waimoto ladies (Mrs 8. J. Adams), Waimate Borough (Mr A. Bcs■wick), Haiiuaton (Mr-W. Duncan), Morvcii (Mr' 'f. Li Hurt), Wailiao Downs (Mr E. Richards), Glciiuvy (Mr t Cuthbcrtson), Rcdcliff (Mr It. Waldie), Hakatarumca (Mr N. Hayes), Waihaoruuga (Mr 11. M. Whatman), McCulloch's Bridge (Mr N. M. Ovbcll). The Wuimatc Committo afterwards decided to meet to-morrow evening to prepare for, Mr Frauds', opening address, to be given in Waimuta, the' following Wednesday.
