Following is the summary for the past twenty-four hours:— The barometer has fallen considerably in the South, but the pressure is still high iu the North, Fair to cloudy weather has prevailed, and westerly breezes have predominated. •Forecast:—Present ' indications are for slormv weather soon, especially southward:! of New Plymouth and Castlepojnt; increasing cloudiness , .with rain following generally.
