Bell that..New Zealand'banks should arrange means for members of the Expeditionary Force. to exchange notes in England, Mr G'allcnder (Geii-" oral Manager of the Bank of New Zealand) suggests that the men shoiilil take drafts on the London branch of one of the banks trading in the Doriiiri< ' ion, "These drafts," says Mr Cailender, "we would be willing, under'the exceptional circumstances, to'issue 'to members of the contingent at par, or, perhaps what would be preferable, • if individuals would hand over their amounts to their rcspecti ?o, pay masters v we .would issue the draft to tlVe latter . for' the total, amount.
