OBITUARY.
T Per Press Association. ■Duncdm, Nov, E9u C, S. -Reeves, a member of the Representation Commission and aniold volunteer officer. The death occurred to-day.in his 77th year of Mr 0. S, Reeves, J.P., who had been a prominent figure in Dunedin for many years, He came to Dunedin in 18(13, and was elected mayor in 1876. In 1874 he represented Dunt'din on the Provincial Council, and was one of the first Hospital Trustees, Ho took a keen interest in volunteering from 1863 till 1890, when he retired with the raiik of lieutenant colonel. He has been a member of the Representation Commission for some years.
