They had just finished breakfast, and the woman of the future was about to start for business.
Then, to her no little surprise, her husband rose from his seat at the table,' flung his arms about her neck, and kissed her.
Why, Bhe ruminated, was he so unusually demonstrative this morning ? She knew these men I
'"Dearest," be murmured, as .he took both of her bands in his, "I love you more than words can tell I" She regarded him suspiciously.
"Oh, you do-do you ?" she retorted,, shortly. "What is it now-a new silk hat or a pair of trousers?" ■■
