QUEEN'S RIFLES.
Notwithstanding the unpromising appearance overhead on Saturday, 22nd, a large number ot members of the Queen's Hides rolled up to the head' quarter's range to take part in Hie sixth, series counting for the .bell and trophies presented by Mr Jas. Macdonald, Col.-Sergt, Doran and Mr E, I l '.. Armstrong. Although the rain kepi off the light was just, changeable enough to make good shooting difficult, while a "two o'clock" wind one minute was a ."ten o'clock" one the next, this fact mainly accounting for the general difficulty experienced in .getting on to the "bull."
