lieutenant Crfrlyon Bellairs, M.P. (liberal), is a son ot lieuteimntGencral Sir William Bellairs. .Hi! was " educated on 11.M.5. Britannia and at the (Royal Naval Collom. Ho entered the navy in 1881, and was specially promoted to a commission in 1891, bavins obtained first-class certificates at all examinations. _ Ho retired ns n torpedo lieiit'cnnint in 1902. He. was for somo time lecturer at the Boyal Naval College, and has .ict?;) as special correspondent for thr Times during naval manoeuvres.
