The lamb market is steady at 'the quotations cabled last week, There has been no alteration in the beef market since last week. Transactions in butter are very limited. The averago price of choicest New Zealand butter is nominall/'93s per, cwt. The cheese market is dull. The average price of finest Now Zealand cheese to-day is 50s per cwt, and Canadian 47s to 48s. The Hemp market is steady, and the price is well maintained. There has been no alteration in the cocksfoot seed market sinco prices were cabled last week.
