EARTHQUAKE SHOCKS.

Thirteen earth shakes were felt here between 3.30 and 10 a.m. Clocks stopped, household articles were displaced, and several chimneys knocked down and others crocked, The people arose from their beds, and many went into the streets in a panic. No serious damage was done, Napier, August 2. Several very sharp shocks of earthquake were felt, here early this morning, the first, which was the heaviest, lasting about a minute,
