PHYLLIS PERRIER.
i The attraction for Jubilee week at the ; Theatre Royal will be the appearance of the little child-mimic, who has been drawing phenomenal houses in the south, ■uid throughout Australia Little Phyllis, although keeping immense audiences laughing at night by her grotesque copies, has won the he.irts of people everywhere with her natural childishness, and leaves many friends regretting her departure in Dunedin. The whole press of the colonies have spoken to the same effect. The eminent critique o' Sydney Evening News (Emily Sjldci <) remarked when the little child was appearing at five years' old, "She preserves her baby individuality, and does not wear that expression of Methusalah common to most infant prodigies " Phyllis has, too, been honored by hearings both public and private from the Governors and Ministers of Australia, and was highly complimented in July last by Lord Hampden at an audience at Government House, Sydney, who wrote : <l She is wonderfully clever, and seems quite unconscious of it." Full particulars of performance, etc., will appear in Thursday's and following is&uts.
