Received November 5, at C.15 p.m. Sydney, No/embor 4. A shoemaker named Toner quarrelled with and murdered his wife at Kister, Newark. Ho almost cut her hedd oil. A prisoner hi gaol attacked the warder, took tha koya, and escaped. The governor of the gaol attempted tointorcopt him, but was koocktid down and had his skull fractured, and is now in a procirioug condition. The prlsonoc was afterwards recaptured.
