A raoofc determined attompt was made (shortly after midnight to barn down tho JPosfc and Telegraph Ofiicos. Kerosene had been thrown on tho weather boarding at tho back of the prumiaoa. A quantity of wood and paper saturated with kero-* «ene wan found on firo. Fortunately the blazo was observed and tho tiro extingutahel before any darriago was dono. Thoro Ib no clue to tho incendiary.
