Exports consider that the fish and quail shipped *b Sydney are unsuitable for tho English market. The hares, rabbits, teal, ducks, and turkeys have arrived in One condition, and they believe there would be a good market if shipped in proper soa»on. Experts also consider that a shipmonfc of 1 per cent salted butter would bo a formidable competitor to mild English butter. Received September 22, at 1.30 p.m. London, September 21. Ab iho wool sales there was a good selection, and 14,000 bales were offered. The bidding was less ani* mated, oxcepb for superior lots, which w?*s more spirited. Mr W. H. Morcer, of tho Colonial Ofiico, who acted as secretary to Lord Jersey, British representative at tho Ottawa Conference, and Mr Sandford Fleming, of tho C*nadi*n-Paci(ic Railway Company, have started for Hawaii to negotiate for the landing of tho Pacific cable in tho vicinity.
